Thank you to all my supporters. We ran the best race we could. We came in second out of four candidates. This was a primary race only so I will not be going on to the general election. Sarah Peters won and will do a great job in the legislature. I plan to stay involved to help in any way I can.

I'm proud of the fact that our campaign contributions came from 150 individuals. Also, the one thing I said through my campaign was "If I motivate one other person to do what I'm doing I will be accomplished". We motivated a lot of people to get involved.

Tom Stewart has owned a small local retail shop on Wells Avenue for 35 years. He has been described as “the Mayor of Wells Avenue” by many in the area. Tom Stewart is proud to be endorsed by former Nevada State Senator/Assembly Member Sheila Leslie, former Nevada Attorney General Frankie Sue Del Papa, Reno City Council Member Jenny Brekhus, and Washoe County Commissioner Kitty Jung. Tom is running for the Nevada Assembly to give a voice to area small business owners and working families.

Early Primary Voting May 26th-June 8th

Did you know you cannot vote for me in the primary if you are registered non-partisan? If you want to vote for me you can change your registration to Democratic. When I'm in office I will work to change this closed primary system in Nevada. It's easy to change your registration back after the primary.

In the recent past the Nevada Legislature passed draconian cannabis laws often resulting in felonies for simple possession of personal amounts of cannabis. Nevada has come a long way since then, and now has a thriving recreational and medical cannabis industry.
